first creative shoot

like i said before, i would love to start doing creative shoots! i have been planning a "mother nature" shoot,  a "usa freedom" shoot, a "snow-white" shoot, and just recently started working on a deer inspired shoot!

well yesterday my friend and i wandered off in the deep woods, fighting the mosquitos, bees and spiders! i cut my foot open on a stick because im a genus and thought flip flops in the overgrown forest would be comfortable! we found an amazing spot brushed all the moss, dirt and pine needles off of it... wrapped her in burlap and poured water all over her head and started our shoot! well i wasnt getting the right angle from the ladder i brought so i had to hold the camera out over my friends head and try to get her whole body in the frame with out looking through the view finder :)

we took like 50 pictures and i was confident we got what i was hoping for so we high tailed it out of woods and headed home. i was super excited to get home and look at the photos. but i cleaned my bloody foot first haha! here is a before and after!

as you can see i worked on this photo very hard. i added canvas, cloned out water bottles, sticks, and even added extra hair. i did tons more too. i really like the feel of it. i think its dark and beautiful. i cant wait to do more creative shoots... this was awesome even though we went through all that chaos! she was a serious trooper!
